Strategic office context: Under the overall guidance of the P3 HR Specialist (People Management Systems), the HR Business Analyst (People Management Systems) is responsible for activities associated with the current People Management Systems. The incumbent will provide technical guidance to users and stakeholders, and support in managing projects on the introduction of new digital HR tools, system enhancements and performance management-related initiatives. He/she will coordinate the design, testing and implementation of scalable software solutions and any ongoing system improvements and proposed business enhancements, including delivery of training sessions. He/she will design and maintain a comprehensive learning portfolio.

Task description

Purpose for the job: Contributing to the HR digital transformation (HR DX) of UNICEF, the incumbent of this post will guide UNICEF staff in people management processes and systems with the aim to enhance UNICEF digital people experience all along their career. The goal will be to ensure the best digital employee experience to all staff in line with UNICEF's OneHR strategy, Global HR Delivery Model and revised approach and practices to integrated talent management • Design, code, test, and deploy scalable HR software applications and create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces. Participate in the selection, implementation, and maintenance of HR software solutions. • Collaborate with HR teams to review existing processes and identify areas for improvement. Propose and implement solutions to streamline HR workflows and enhance efficiency. Conduct process mapping and documentation to ensure clarity and consistency. • Implement software solutions that align with UNICEF HR Policy, guidelines, best practices and compliance standards. • Support the integration of HR software solutions with other systems, such as HRIS, ATS, and ERP systems. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability. • Carry out the assigned activities associated with the current people management systems, including management and maintenance and ongoing configuration. • Provide technical guidance to system users and support project management of talent management initiatives, manage the user support help desk and team, develop best practices in line with UNICEF's integrated talent management strategy, talent management policies and guidelines, and the people experience with the people management systems. • Coordinate/support the testing of any ongoing system improvements or changes and proposed business enhancements; serve as a liaison between UNICEF HR, UNICEF ICTD and the external system provider; troubleshoot ongoing technical issues with both UNICEF ICTD and the external system provider. • Design and develop a comprehensive learning portfolio related to the people management systems and approaches for all staff, including end-user materials, global and customized webinars, capacity building sessions for HR colleagues, and maintenance of the existing portfolio. • Contribute to the work of the People analytics team with key reporting recruitment metrics and analysis; continuously update the Talent Management Portal. • Provide support to other Human Capital Intelligence and Technology functions as needed.
