Mission and objectives

The RCO ensures the coordination of all organizations of the United Nations dealing with operational activities for development in and with the UAE, regardless of each agency's presence in the country. The RCO also coordinates the programming for the UN Pavillion at Expo2020 in Dubai.

Context

COP28, the United Nations Climate Change Conference, will be held in Dubai in December 2023. In this context, the UN in UAE has developed a publication that provides an introduction to the ways in which the challenges of climate change and biodiversity interact and the potential for international policy processes to create joined up responses.

Task description

The UN in the United Arab Emirates is looking for a graphic designer that can support the development of graphics assets to promote it's latest publication: Building Synergies Between Climate and Biodiversity Governance: A Primer for COP28. Assets would include 3 post designs for social media and the design of 2 flyers. The designs must follow the existing design of the publication and the corporate graphic identity guidelines for the UN, which will be sent to the volunteers in advance.
