Overview of position |
On Sunday, 10 September 2023, Storm Daniel made landfall in Libya causing severe weather conditions and catastrophic flooding in northeastern parts of the country. IOM recognizes the urgency of addressing humanitarian needs for all affected and displaced people. Therefore, in the aftermath of this emergency, the addressing timely the shelter and NFI distribution has become very important. The role of the Shelter Field Officer is pivotal in this context for the field operations with particular focus on field sites.

of shelter and NFI operations in the flood affected areas. |
