JOB Description:
The Budget Officer and Accounting Correspondent / Financial Verifying Agent will verify that all transactions are treated according to “sound financial management” respecting legality and regularity in line with the Financial Regulation and other applicable rules and assist the financial management of the EuroHPC JU, ensure the management of the EuroHPC accounts with a view to producing timely and accurate accounting information which meets both the legal and management
requirements of the EuroHPC JU, and shall also be the Financial contact person regarding the services to be provided by the JU’s Accounting Correspondent.
He/she is responsible for supporting the Accounting Officer with the preparation of the annual accounts which give a true and fair view of the EuroHPC JU assets, liabilities, revenue, expenses and of budget implementation. The Budget Officer and Accounting Correspondent / Financial Verifying Agent shall also provide independent, objective assurance and consulting services to the Executive Director on financial and administrative management and control structures within the EuroHPC
