Overview

Jhpiego is seeking services of Provincial Program Coordinator” for the “Flood Emergency Response Project” to be implemented in 04 districts of Sindh.  The project aims to provide healthcare (curative and primary healthcare) services to the population residing in flood affected areas through mobile camps and static centers through adopting integrated approach with other programmes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership for program staff working on flood emergency response 04 districts of Sindh.
  • Ensure successful implementation of the project and support staff to provide curative and primary healthcare services to the displaced population in selected areas through mobile camps and static centers.
  • Support and develop training material to conduct community awareness sessions on primary prevention like immunization, maternal and child health and other communicable and noncommunicable diseases.
  • Supervise and provide training to staff
  • Keep close liaison with government departments.
  • Work closely with provincial and district government and EPI offices to enhance routine immunization, reaching refusals and zero dose children
  • Maintain data and keep record of clients.
  • Develop monthly progress report of the project

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Public Health, MBBS recognized by PM&DC will be a plus
  • 5-7 years of experience of working in Public health programmes, experience of same type of assignments will be a plus.
  • Proficiency in English and strong report writing skills
  • Knowledge of health information system and data analysis
  • Computer literacy with working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel), MIS, HIS
  • Ability to rapidly analyze and integrate diverse information from varied sources
